This "Avenue" represents the opportunity that each Rotarian has to represent the dignity and utility of one’s vocation as an opportunity to serve society. Rotarians promote and foster high ethical standards in business and professions and promote the recognition of the worthiness of all useful occupations.
Del Mar High School Student Mentoring: San Gabriel Rotarians visit Del Mar High School, a Secondary High School to meet, support and encourage Students to follow their dreams and to continue their education.
In addition, San Gabriel Rotary offers a graduating Student at Del Mar High School with a $500 Scholarship to continue their education.
Dan Stover Memorial Music Scholarship: Each year the Rotary Club of San Gabriel sponsors area high school students to participate in this music contest. The contest is open to high school seniors only. Contestants will start the contest at the Club Level, then Group Level. If they are successful to win at the Group Level their next competition will be at the District Level. The winner of the contest at the District Level will receive $5,000 music scholarship. The Rotary Club of San Gabriel is proud to have sponsored three winners of this Contest:

George R. Hensel Essay Contest: The Rotary Club of San Gabriel sponsors are high school students to participate in the Essay Contest. The contest is open to all high school students. The contest is designed to challenge high school students to analyze ethical issues and concerns confronting them in today's complex world. As with the Music Contest, contestants will start their competition at the Club Level and if the are successful in reaching and winning at the District Level they will receive $3,000. The 4-Way Test Speech Contest: The Rotary Club of San Gabriel sponsors are high school students to participate in the Speech Contest. The contest is open to all high school students. The specific goals of the contest are:
1. To acquaint a large number of youth with Rotary and the Four-Way Test.
2. To demonstrate and enhance Rotary’s commitment to youth.
3. To heighten awareness of Rotary among youth, parents, schools, and community.
4. To recognize, encourage, and reward hard work and accomplishment among youth.

Interact Clubs: The Rotary Club of San Gabriel sponsors 2 Interact clubs: Gabrielino High School and Jefferson Middle School in San Gabriel, CA. Since its inception, the Interact Club of Gabrielino High School has prided themselves in having the largest club on the Gabrielino High School campus and possibly the entire District 5300. GHS Interactors involve themselves in many projects, activities and services in the San Gabriel Valley. The Interact Club of Jefferson Middle School was chartered by San Gabriel Rotary in June 2013. In their first year, Interactors, Faculity Advisor and Rotary Liaison have made the Interact Club on the Jefferson Middle School Campus a "The Bomb".?
RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards): The Rotary Club of San Gabriel sponsors Gabrielino Interactors to participate in RYLA Camp. RYLA is Rotarians working with youth in leadership development. RYLA is an intensive training program for community youth leaders.
