Mayor Kevin Sawkins (MC) for the Dan Stover Music Competition at the Mission Playhouse. Bo Han is the winner this year of the Dan Stover Music Competition 2008, playing exquisitely on the piano (with Kevin Sawkins-Rotary Vocational Chairperson). Melody Yang is the runner-up, also playing the piano for the Dan Stover Music Competition 2008. Excellent work on the piano! Christian Ventura was a participant playing the violin this year in the Dan Stover Music competition. Great job! Judy Ramos is a participant playing the trombone in the Dan Stover Music Competition 2008. Keep up the Good work with your music...and best of luck to all participants this year.
Winner Bo Han!!! He will represent San Gabriel Rotary Club at the Regionals next month & hopefully at the District Conference. District Award is $4000 this year 4/26/2008 in Irvine, CA. Kevin Sawkins with Christian Ventura & Judy Ramos at Autunnos for lunch after the competition. Dan Stover Music participants with San Gabriel Mayor Kevin Sawkins (Lt) and Rotary Club President Javier R. Valenzuela (Rt). Great Job to all!!! Kevin Sawkins and winner Bo Han at Autunnos Catering for lunch after the competition. Kevin and Melody Yang runner -up in the Dan Stover Music Competition 2008.
