Club Service

 

This “Avenue” promotes the development of acquaintance as an opportunity for service.  It involves the activities necessary to make the Club function successfully and achieve its goals.

 

Weekly Meetings:  Each week San Gabriel Rotarians gather at the Padillo Room, located next to the San Gabriel Mission Playhouse for Rotary fellowship and friendship. During the meeting Rotarians and guest will be treated fellowship and friendship that San Gabriel Rotarians are known for. Each week our Program Chair arranges an interesting speaker or program that enhances our knowledge and community involvement. Guests are welcome to attend weekly meetings to learn more about the Rotary Club of San Gabriel and Rotarians from other club are welcome to drop-in for a visit or to make-up a missed meeting. Special Events and Outtings:The San Gabriel Rotary Club prides themselves in the special events and outings that they plan. Each year the Club plans a wonderful Holiday/Christmas Party, Demotion Dinner and Golf outings. This year a turnaround trip to Pala Casino has been added to calendar. Also during the year, special programs are planned for the weekly meetings: Chinese New Year Celebration, St. Patrick's Day Celebration, Championship of College Football Bowl and Cinco de Mayo Celebration.  Rotarians and their guest are welcome to attend. Membership and Attendance are a important of part of a Rotary's club success. San Gabriel
Rotarians are encouraged to meet and achieve the club's attendance goals and to participate in club events and services. Club Members are also encouraged to invite guest who may have an interest in Rotary or whom may be a good fit into the club's organization and success.

 

Public Relations generates interest and awareness of the programs and services. Information on San Gabriel Rotary Club's programs and services can be found on the "Calendar" page of this web site.
